Telecommuting Program

Sonoma State University has recently opted into the CSU Systemwide Telecommuting Program which will allow managers to offer some schedule flexibility where operationally feasible for employees. Employees who are interested in the Telecommuting Program are asked to review the below information and, if interested in requesting participation, thereafter discuss with their Appropriate Administrator.

Please note that the preponderance of work (at least three days per week) is expected to be completed on campus, and employees with an approved telecommute agreement are required to be available to return to campus when necessary. Full-time telecommuting will only be approved under exceptional circumstances by the Division head. Furthermore the CSU Telecommuting Program states that participating employees may only telecommute from within the State of California unless specifically authorized by the President.
