Annual Campus Compliance Report

Sonoma State will be evaluated on the campus completion rate of several required compliance trainings on CSU Learn as part of the Chancellor’s Office Annual Campus Compliance Report (ACCR). Completion rates of six required compliance trainings will be recorded on January 1st and published on multiple system-wide dashboards, including those specifically for campus presidents. Sonoma State’s standing will be displayed alongside the other CSU campuses. Campuses must reach a 90% completion rate by January 1st to receive an acceptable rating.

Individual assignments and due dates vary based on prior completion dates, hire dates, and applicable training requirements. Training requirements and due dates vary based on individual assignments and previous completion dates.

Employees can check their training transcript to determine when they will be due to take each training again, their next due date is listed as the “Expiration Date.” Employees also receive automated email notifications from CSU Learn, including on initial assignment, when retraining is required, reminders, and upon becoming overdue/expired.

Additionally, Employee and Labor Relations and Compliance will begin targeted outreach to those due to complete training by January 1st in the early fall. After, reports will be provided to campus leadership for additional follow up.

CSU Learn uses both designations to identify training requirements that have passed their due dates. Regardless of the designation, employees can still access and complete their assigned training.

The Chancellor’s Office will pull a completion report for each of the trainings on January 1st. For each training, the number of employees whose assignments are overdue or expired is divided by the total number of employees assigned that training. To receive a favorable evaluation, the percentage of employees with overdue or expired training must be below 10%, corresponding to a completion rate of at least 90%.

Campuses are provided the opportunity to review the final list of overdue and expired individuals and can request that those on leave or sabbatical be waived from the final count.

Student Assistants are also assigned mandatory CSU training and should be provided appropriate work time to complete their required courses. Please include student employees in departmental follow-up efforts.

Employees supporting work within the SFBRN will continue to complete required compliance training through their designated home campus. For those supervising employees across the Network, please continue to support timely completion of assigned training, recognizing that training assignments and reporting remain connected to each employee's home campus.
