Announcements
The 40-hour work week period for student employees begins December 21 and ends January 17, 2026. During this time, Student Assistants may work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week, but they may not be scheduled or permitted to work overtime.

The W2 form for the 2025 tax year will be mailed by the State Controller's Office (SCO) in late January. Employees that opted-in for the paperless W2 feature in Cal Employee Connect are now able to view and download their tax statement.
Want to know more about the 1095-B and 1095-C forms? Review the FAQs to help answer your questions about these tax documents which are required as part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements. 1095-B forms can be obtained through your health care provider. 1095-C forms will be mailed by the State Controller's Office and are expected to be delivered to employees in March 2026.
Student employment for the academic year (Fall 25-Spring 26) begins 8/18/25 and ends 5/31/26.

The State Controller’s Office (SCO) has produced a tool that will allow employees to view their earnings statements and W-2’s, along with personal information. Learn more on how you can be a part of the program.
